Our team of hoarded house clearance specialists were instructed to clear out a large terraced hoarders house in the North West Of England. The house comprised of 12 rooms in total, as well as a large cellar and yard that also required total clearance.
The full clearance of the hoarded house took our team a total of five days to clear from start to finish. All curtains and carpets were removed once the hoarded house was cleared, our guys also swept through the full property in order to get it ready for the estate agent to visit and value on behalf of our customer.
Our customer was based overseas and was not able to be present during the clearance of the house, he did however give us instructions by email regarding what he wished to keep within the property. We added the customer to WhatsApp in order to send him daily photographs of our progress and pictures of items of value we managed to locate within the property.
The house was hoarded with a huge amount of items, including many car parts and tools as well as the usual furniture and general bric-a-brac.
A good selection of valuable items were discovered within the hoarded property including, a gents gold watch, Victorian paintings, silverware and a collection of war medals belonging to the customer’s grandfather.
Anything re-usable was donated to various charity’s within the area, and the waste was disposed of via a recycling centre.
The customer found it hard to believe our hoarded house clearance specialists managed to clear the full property within five days.
