I’m in Galashiels and looking to sell my gold and silver jewellery. I’ve got an old 9ct gold chain, a few silver coins, and some diamond rings I inherited. I checked a couple of local shops near me, but the offers were really low.
Can anyone recommend a trustworthy place to get cash for my gold today?

Auctions take ages and the fees are high, so I wouldn’t bother. The best place to sell your gold and jewellery is somewhere local where you can see your items valued in front of you. I sold some scrap gold, silver bars, and a few old coins recently and felt much more confident about the price.
