I’m in Gateshead and looking to sell some gold and silver jewellery for cash. I’ve got a broken 9ct gold bracelet, a few silver coins, and an inherited diamond ring from a relative. I tried a couple of local shops but the offers seemed very low.
Can anyone recommend the best place nearby to sell gold and silver?

I’d avoid auctions if you can — they’re slow and the fees are expensive. I sold some old gold jewellery, broken chains, and silver coins directly to buyers instead, and it was much quicker once everything had been tested and weighed properly.
