I’m in Stockton on Tees and looking to sell a few gold and silver items for cash. I’ve got an old gold chain that’s snapped, a silver tankard, and a small box of mixed coins from a relative’s house. The first place I tried didn’t explain much and the price felt off.
Any suggestions for reliable buyers locally?

I wouldn’t bother with auctions, they’re slow and the fees eat into anything you make. I sold a silver letter opener, a gold tie pin, and a decorative candlestick recently and it was far quicker dealing directly once the items were properly tested.
