Can I Get Antiques Valued Online? Answered

Hi, hope you guys can help. I recently had to clear a relative’s estate, the home was extremely hoarded and took myself and several family members 5 weekends to clear.

I came across a few interesting looking antiques during the clear out, see pics below.

I am looking for a reputable online antique appraisal/valuation recommendation. Any advice offered greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance, Fiona D.

  1. We helped clear a neighbour’s property out around a year ago which was also very badly hoarded. The relative were in Australia and could not get over due to lockdowns etc.

There were a number of items of value which we had valued online for the family, we used antiqueappraisals.net.

The valuations were in-depth and accurate so would recommend their services, we ourselves were recommended them from a friend. There are other services online, just do a Google search.

    All the best, Angela.

  2. Hey Fiona, there are a number of avenues you could take to get the antiques valued.

You could try calling your local auction house and ask to speak with an expert, alternatively you could call or email a local antique dealer and ask if they provide valuation services.

If you are looking for something with less hassle involved do it online. I have used 2 online valuation services in the past, value my stuff and antiqueappraisals.net both proved an equally good service.

p.s. I love the charm bracelet

  3. Hi Fiona, we recommend two online services to all of our customers requiring online antique appraisal and valuations. Both companies offer a good service, you could us value my stuff or antiqueappraisals.net we ourselves prefer antiqueappraisals.net, but that is just our personal preference. Good luck, Admin.
