Terms for using Inner Thought Group
These terms explain the basis on which you may use Inner Thought Group, including its articles, assessments, personalised reports and related services.
Last updated: September 2026
About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Inner Thought Group (“ITG”), including content, self-reflection assessments, personalised insight reports, downloads and other features made available through the website.
Inner Thought Group currently operates through https://www.compulsive-hoarding.org/.
By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Educational and self-reflection purposes
Inner Thought Group content, assessments and reports are provided for general education and personal self-reflection.
They are not intended to provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, financial or other professional advice.
You should not use an assessment result or report as a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, advice or support.
Important
Assessment results are interpretive self-reflection tools. They should not be treated as definitive statements about your personality, relationships, mental health, motives, future or suitability for any particular course of action.
No diagnosis or professional relationship
Using Inner Thought Group does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, counsellor-client or other professional relationship between you and Inner Thought Group or anyone involved in operating or contributing to the website.
If you are concerned about your mental health, physical health, safety or wellbeing, you should seek support from an appropriately qualified professional or relevant local service.
Assessment results
Assessment results are based on the responses you provide and the scoring structure used for the relevant assessment.
Results may vary depending on how you interpret questions, your circumstances at the time, and the accuracy and completeness of your responses.
Different dimensions may point in different directions. A personalised report may therefore describe mixed, competing or nuanced patterns rather than provide a single conclusion.
No assessment can fully capture the complexity of a person, relationship or life situation.
AI-assisted report wording
Some personalised report wording may be generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
The underlying assessment scores and dimensions are calculated by the Inner Thought Group assessment system. Artificial intelligence may then be used to help explain those results in personalised plain language.
AI-generated wording can occasionally be incomplete, imprecise or unsuitable for a particular individual situation. Reports should therefore be read as self-reflection material rather than authoritative professional conclusions.
Inner Thought Group may use a non-AI fallback interpretation if an automated report-generation service is unavailable or fails to produce an acceptable report.
Personalised report purchases
You may complete an assessment before deciding whether to purchase access to a personalised insight report.
The price, currency and relevant payment information will be shown before you confirm a purchase.
Prices may differ by currency, region, promotion or product version. The price displayed to you at checkout is the price applicable to that transaction unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.
Completing an assessment does not by itself entitle you to access a paid personalised report. Access is provided only after payment has been successfully completed and verified.
Payment processing and verification
Payments for personalised insight reports are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider.
Payment card details are submitted to and processed by Stripe. Inner Thought Group does not receive or store your full card details.
A return to the Inner Thought Group website after checkout does not by itself confirm that payment has succeeded. Access to a paid report is provided only after the payment has been successfully verified by our payment system.
If payment remains pending, fails, is cancelled or cannot be verified, the paid report may remain locked until the payment status is resolved.
You are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information to the payment processor.
Digital report delivery
Personalised insight reports are digital products generated specifically from the relevant assessment response pattern.
By proceeding with payment, you request that generation and delivery of the personalised digital report begin immediately after successful payment verification.
Once payment is verified, the report may be made available through the website and may also be available for download or email delivery where those options are offered.
You are responsible for saving or downloading a copy of your report if you wish to retain it permanently.
We do not guarantee that a report link or online copy will remain available indefinitely.
Refunds and payment problems
Because personalised reports are digital products generated specifically for an individual assessment response pattern and supplied shortly after payment, refunds are generally not available once the report has been generated and made available.
Where applicable law permits, cancellation or refund rights may become limited once generation or delivery of the personalised digital report has begun.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts any mandatory refund, cancellation or consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country or region.
If you are charged but your report does not unlock, you are charged more than once for the same intended purchase, or you believe there has been another payment error, please contact us so the transaction can be investigated.
Our full refund terms are explained in our
Refund Policy
Where a refund is appropriate, it will normally be returned through the original payment method.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use information obtained from Inner Thought Group. In particular, you should not:
- rely on an assessment or report as a medical or psychological diagnosis;
- make significant health, legal, financial, employment or safety decisions solely on the basis of an assessment result;
- use an assessment to diagnose, label or make serious decisions about another person;
- use the website in a way that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to bypass payment controls, report locks, website security or access restrictions;
- attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- submit malicious code, automated abuse or other material intended to damage the website or its users.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to provide useful, carefully prepared information, but we do not guarantee that all content, assessment wording, reports or website functions will always be complete, current, error-free or suitable for every individual situation.
Website features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults, third-party service outages or circumstances outside our control.
We may update, remove, suspend or change content, assessments, prices or features where reasonably necessary.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original articles, assessment structures, assessment questions, personalised report formats, branding, graphics, page designs and other materials created for Inner Thought Group are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view website content and use a purchased report for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You should not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, systematically extract or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website, assessments or reports without permission except where applicable law permits it.
External websites and services
Inner Thought Group may link to websites or services operated by third parties. Those links are provided for convenience or reference. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, security or practices of third-party websites and services.
Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate relationships
Inner Thought Group may display advertising, sponsored content or affiliate links in the future. Where appropriate, material commercial relationships will be identified. The presence of advertising or an external link does not necessarily mean that Inner Thought Group endorses every product, service or claim associated with it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Inner Thought Group and those involved in operating the website will not be responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on educational content, self-reflection assessment results, personalised report wording or third-party resources linked from the website.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory rights available to consumers.
Your statutory or mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
